3rd Lesson: Kojima VS. Academy Student

[Anei]

*After putting his shirt back on, leaving the first three buttons undone, as usual, he stand, catching his breath just a little waiting for his opponent for the third lesson to begin. He chews nervously on his lip. Simply performing techniques was one thing, his bloodline ability made the continued use of jutsu fairly simple. Fighting however was something entirely different. he and all those in his bloodline worked best as support ninja, and rarely ever attacked directly. He would be lucky to pull out of this one ok*

[Washi]

"Hi there my name is Nobunga Wadashi and I will be your opponent!" yelled Nobunga as he charged into the classroom and waited for his opponent.

[Anei]

*Kojima looks over the other st udent, who is clearly very eager, and licks his lips* Kojima Taiki...*he forces a smile and stands in no stance in particular, deciding it best to play defense*

[Washi]

"Ready or not, here I come!" roared Nobunga as he charged at Kojima. He threw three shurikens at Kojima before jumping into the air for a powerful punch.
"Eat this!"

[Anei]

*chewing his inner lip, Kojima has more than enough time to duck under the shuriken, then seeing his opponent jump into the air, he launches himself forward, staying low, so that he ends up behind the other kid, their backs to eachother* N-no thanks...

[Washi]

"Wha- where'd you go!" Shouted Nobunga, "Behind me!"
Nobunga spun round and threw some more shurikens at Kojima before taking out a packet from his pocket.
"Stop running! Fight like a man!"

[Anei]

*kojima dodges the shuriken quickly to the side, glancing down, he hastily buttons up his shirt again as the boy pulls a packet from his pocket.* Again, no thanks ^_^"

[Washi]

"Hehe," replied Nobunga, "Just a little more..."
Nobunga quickly threw shurikens around Kojima. It was obvious from this intentions that he purposely missed Kojima.
"You see the circle of shuriken that I've made? Acting like an idiot was just a feint although I'm surprised you didn't attack me to allow this set up," said Nobunga cooly, "You see this packet? This contains a special scroll from the Wadashi Clan. It's a D-ranked sealing technique we use for hunting. It's easy for ninja to break out of but your only an academy student!"
Nobunga got out the small scroll from the packet and bit his fingers. A drop of blood fell onto the centre.
"The shurikens are infused with a little of my chakra so that when I use this technique, they connect and form a barrier!"
Nobunga then leapt out of the circle of shurikens and grabbed his Kunai hastily.
"Your turn."

[Anei]

*Kojima bit his lower lip til it bled. Should have expected someone who passed the first two tests to at least be able to form a basic strategy. hmm. * Acting like an idiot is only possible if it lies somewhere inside you. You should have activated the technique without taking the time to explain it. *throws his hands together and uses the substitution jutsu on the kunai the boy so hastily pulled out, aiming to deliever a swift punch as soon as he arrived*

[Washi]

"Sh-!", yelled Nobunga as he fell flat on his back. He rubbed his cheek for a while and then got up.
"You replaced with my kunai before I set the technique up!" he said, "However I have one last trick!"
Nobunga clasped his hands together and quickly formed seals, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon...
"Bunshin no jutsu!"

[Anei]

*Kojima let out a sort of snort/chuckle when he felt contact, wondering where this kid had got the idea that he was so clever. he steps back, allowing him room for his next move, arching a brow, curious what he intended to do with intangible clones with no chance for confusing Kojima, who was focusing intently on which was real*

[Washi]

"The Wadashi clan is a clan of hunters. These fake clones are constantly used by us to trap our prey, usually deer," said Nobunga as he pulled out another scroll, "This is a special scroll that allows me to change places with my bunshin!"

Suddenly Nobunga and his clones started charging towards Kojima. Some of them went right through him and towards the back. One of the clones raise his arm and swung a punch at Kojima.

"Eat this!"

[Anei]

*Kojima began to chew his lip again. He was far from a skilled taijutsu user, but he had forced himself to learn a few basics, and had learned a few new moves from a few friends. as much as he hated it, he figured he might hold his own for a bit, raising his arm and blocking the punch with his forarm*

[Washi]

Upon seeing that his attack was blocked, Nobunga retreated.
"This scroll is for one time use only and I'm not stupid enough to continue fighting. You win," said Nobunga as he took a bow, "I forfeit."

[Anei]

*Kojima froze for a second, astounded. he had braced himself well for a follow up attack and a hard hit, but not for victory. He chewed the other side of is lip a little and buttoned up most of his shirt before remembering himself, and bowed in response to his opponent, showing respect, though he now considered this student quite a dunce* Thank you for the match...

[Kiza Byarigan]

Kayn walked over to him.
"Congrats on becoming a Genin!"
He handed him his Leaf headband.
"Wear it proudly."

[Anei]

*Kojima stops chewing his lip for a moment to take the headband, allowing an uncharacteristic smile to spread across his face, bowing and muttering his thanks, then carefully, almost religiously, ties the headband around his forehead, thinking to himself maybe it wont be long before he can tell father a story of one of his missions*

"Good luck out there as a Genin."
Kayn smiled as he waved to Kojima he now had passed the academy.
