Re: Leaf Village Gate
The Hokage's dog ran forward towards the gate, sniffing and tracking a sent down before sitting and waiting for Washi to catch up. The Jounin approached slowly, wind blowing his gentle hair across so that it covered his face temporarily. With one graceful movement he moved his hand across and brushed the hair away before patting the dog gently. He crouched slightly, one eye on the gate and the other on the guard nearby, grinning slightly.
"Lead on, young hound," he whispered in the dog's ears quietly before glancing at the guard,
"Official Mission, personal request by the Hokage himself," announced Washi as he got up and held up a small scroll, "I will be leaving the village temporarily."
He gave a small stare towards the guard, almost willing him on to challenge him as his eyes looked deep into the guard's.

The guards mumbled about actually having to work but nod and open the gates.

Re: Leaf Village Gate
From a great desert, back to nice grass and forest. From Suna to Konoha and from the Wind to Fire. The journey took a few days of weary travelling and the ninja hound was leading on Washi as usual.
At last, as the sun rose and the dawn emerged, Washi caught the sight of Konoha. The light beaming onto the village gates. He walked quickly, intending to give the Hokage his urgent news and handed the guards his seal of approval for entry.
The hound barked loudly as if it were also aware of the importance of Washi's message and started chasing its own tail. Washi grinned slightly as he awaited the guards to open the gate.

Re: Leaf Village Gate
Chieko took a few steps before the large gate. It seemed like ages the last time she saw them. It had that fresh new smell of a new coat of paint on it when she came a little closer to place her hands on its face. The memories flushed through her head of all the times she had spent in this village.
It has been 2 years.
Chieko was now 12 years old. She was 10 when she left the village with her healing arts mentor. She was still a Genin, but it didn't bother her. She believed someones strength is not limited by their rank. As long as she followed her beliefs she was content.
She was still the same as always; Quiet and shy. The orange scarf around her neck was still there and was still her source of comfort. It was worn and beaten up from all her travels but it was still strong. She was slightly taller and a little more built. Her hair was a little longer, but this time she always has it tied up and out of her face unlike before, where it was always let down. Her glazed eyes stared at the gate then slowly scanned the visible landscape of Konoha.
"It's been... too long..." She spoke to no one in particular.
"I wonder if... anyone... I know is still here..."
