Ichiraku Ramen

[Ijin]

Koku slowly walks in order a bowl of beef ramen. The cook ands him the bowl as he pays. Koku slurps it down quickly and then starts to relax. "Man the food here is great makes me wanna just stay here. Well that would depend on how good there manga selection is here. It is a little lonly here tho." Koku said with a frown.

[Chieko]

She bows her head through the curtains looking around slowly seeing the slightly empty shop. She walks in and orders a Miso Ramen, paying and sitting down with her order, making sure to choose a seat not too close to the other customers. 'I hope mom doesn't find me here.' She thinks to herself after running from home again.

[Ijin]

Koku notices the girl and nearly yips in happiness for someone to talk to. He moves to a seat closer to the girl. "Hello are you one of the Acad students from here by any chance.: Koku said with a smile.

[Chieko]

She feels a cold sweat run down her cheek and almost yelps from the question. She swallows the under-chewed ramen noodles and tries not to lose her voice. "Y-Yes! I-I was enrolled just t-today..."

[Ijin]

"Thats cool i'm Kokuzoku Kuroengi nice to meet you" Koku said to the girl with a heart warming smile. "So how strong are you."

[Chieko]

She let her bangs cover over her right eye like she usually does when feeling shy or uncomfortable and adverts her gaze away. "I'm Chieko Takai..." She almost says in a mumble as her lips begin to retreat into her scarf. "I don't think I'm very strong yet...

[Ijin]

"Well Chieko how about a little training I promise i'll go easy on you. It will give you the edge over the other students." Said Koku hoping she would say yes. Still having a smile on.

[Chieko]

She thinks for a moment if she should really go training with someone she just met not even 5 minutes ago and starts to think about the academy. "A-All right. Sounds like fun." She nods lightly, her reply a bit muffled by her scarf.

[Ijin]

"very good i'll meet you outside the town. Come when your ready." Koku said while getting up and leaving the shop.

(I made a friend I think? go to spars i'll have it set up.)

[Chieko]

She nods silently watching him leave then slurps up the rest of her ramen. After awhile she leaves her self thanking the ramen shop keeper and runs down to the training field.

( Sure friends sounds good.)

[Ijin]

Koku walks in and takes a seat waiting for Chieko.

[Chieko]

She bounces into the shop after him, and plops into the chair right next to him happily. She brushes off her lap and makes sure her hair is out of the way.

[Ijin]

((wow like she digs me.))

He orders two of the finest ramen and pays for them. Koku then hands one to Chieko. “you deserve it after that battle.” He says while putting a large smile on.

[Chieko]

She looks at the bowl of ramen then looks back up at Koku with a smile too. "Thank you, Koku-san!" She kneels up in her seat and gives him a peck on the cheek as a sign for her thanks. This causes her to blush a little. "Not just for the ramen, but for everything today."

[Ijin]

Koku blushing now too. “it was nothing and I had lots of fun too. I mean this was my first day in this town ever.” He said then eating some ramen.

[Chieko]

Chieko plops back into her seat properly and grabs some chopsticks. "What do you mean your first day?" She tilts her head curiously up at him. "Itadakimasu!" She announces softly and starts to eat her ramen.

[Ijin]

“I've never been to this city before today. I go from place to place every once in a while. So I never went to an Acad.” Koku said softly.

[Chieko]

"How neat! You're from out of town, huh? Are you on a pilgrimage? What are you traveling for? Where are you from? Why did you start traveling?"
She begins to ask all sorts of questions, her childish curiosity getting the best of her.

[Ijin]

“most of my clan died in power struggle so I left the village I was from around your age.” He pulls out four srolls. “I learned all my jutsus from these scrolls.” He puts the scrolls away. “Really i've been battling and traveling since.” Koku said with a smile.

[Chieko]

Chieko frowns a little of the demise of his clan and her eyes glaze over with water.
"Oh no... It sounds like it was hard...So since you're traveling... I guess you might be leaving soon again then.."
She looks down at her ramen bowl sadly, watching the steam dance in the air.

[Ijin]

“cheer up it was hard but i've never regretted it, and as for the leaving probly not for a while besides even if I did leave I didn't I wouldn't come back.” He said with a warming smile.

[Chieko]

Chieko starts to slurp up a bite of hot ramen noodles as her eyes start to water and drip down her face, hoping to make him think it was just from the heat. She takes a deep breath and wipes her eyes on her scarf. "So where are you living for now then?"

[Ijin]

“I'm working on that to tell you the truth we met within 5 minutes of me entering the village.” Koku sais rubbing his head in embarrassment.

[Chieko]

She crosses her arms and puckers her lips to one side of her face, like she always does when she starts to think hard. "I don't think my mom would like it if I brought a stranger home..." She mumbles to herself. "Oh... I know." She begins to rock back and forth in her seat. "When I was out by myself one day on the village's outskirts, I met this old man who ran a tea shop. He's very nice. Maybe he'll let you stay and maybe even give you a job for awhile. I'm sure all that traveling costs a lot of money..."
