Personality: He is extremely calm and does not often lose his temper. He dislikes people who act stupid during a mission or put other's lives in danger. He regards his mission or orders to be of high importance but he will not recklessly put his teammates in danger especially those who have earnt his respect. Washi is also very serious and does not waste time in battle. He is also quite honourable and will not go back on his promises. He is especially close to those he has formed bonds with but he can also be a ruthless killer to his enemies and he is also fairly confident of his ability. Has a knack for turning up exactly on time.

Special Characteristics: He is highly analytical and intelligent. Fast and extremely adept at Shunshin and hand seals. He always wears his noble robes and carries a specially made Kunai called Kira.

Kage Bunshin no Jutsu - Shadow Clone Technique. Rank: B

The normal Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja that lacks any substance. The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones.

The user uses their chakra to enhance their reflexes allowing them to quickly cover short distances. It often looks like teleportation to those who don't look closely.

History/Background Story[/b]: Washi was born into the Oda clan, a fairly rich and noble clan in Sunagakure. He was always reminded about his noble heritage and there much pressure to see him perform better then the others. He graduated from the academy at the age of 7, became a Chuunin by the age of 9 and was quickly promoted to a Jounin at the age of 14 due to the wars between Sunakagure and the other ninja villages. It was during this time that he was renowned for his battle tactics and strategies which saved the lives of his teammates.

However, it was on his 17th Birthday that a life changing event occured, his younger sister and her entire team were missing and presumed dead. Usually calm, he was both angry and sorrowful at the incident and demanded to know what had happened. Apparently what had been a B ranked mission to escort some traders turned into a catastrope as the raiders turned out to be jounin missing-nin. Furious that the Kazekage did not investigate the mission beforehand or deal with the missing-nin, he abandoned the village to look for his sister or if she was dead to deal with her killers.

A year after abandoning his village and becoming a missing-nin he had finally come across some clues as to the incident. He discovered where the missing-nins were located and started to assasinate them one by one when they were sleeping, however on one of the nights they kept watch knowing he would strike at them again and although Washi was the superior shinobi he was vastly outnumbered. To his surprise however they were quickly killed by another group of shinobi. He saw from their forehead protectors that they were leaf shinobi from Konoha and having seen them deal with those criminals he felt that Konoha would be the right village.

Soon after this incident he accompanied the leaf shinobi back to their village and pleaded with the Hokage to accept him. Although fairly new to Konoha he has been accepted and is now doing regular missions for them.




Roleplay Sample:
Washi furiously flung open the door to his house and looked straight into his Father's eyes who was sitting on a stool. Washi was angry, especially after his talk with the elders. "This village...", He shouted, "This village is a complete waste of time, to think that they would abandon my sister and her teammates like that!". He banged his fist on the table and dust was thrown up into the air. His father however was silent.

"Surely you think so too?", he questioned his father, "That this village has become useless, helpless and weak!"
His father stood up and brushed away the dust on his noble white robes,
"You fool, your uproars have gone and humiliated us. Keep silent and act like an Oda. Your sister is gone and there is nothing you can do to save her," he said.
"Have you gone mad!?", Washi shouted back, "Your own daughter, she is your own daughter and here you are doing nothing about it. This village has become insane!"

"This village has not become insane my son. To think her death would have effected you in this way... Had you not seen death with your very eyes? Have you not killed the enemy with your bare hands? Are you a shinobi?"

"Yes I am a shinobi but I am not quite cold-hearted enough to disregard the death of those close to me. It seems if the village and even you will do nothing about it then I might have to take things into my own hands..."

"Fool!" shouted Washi's father as he grabbed onto Washi's arm and shoved him against the wall, "Do not be reckles. Remember who you are. You are a prodigy of Sunagakure born into the Oda clan. You are needed and you will NOT leave."

Washi pushed his father back and in a flicker appeared at the back of him with a kunai at his throat. Droplets of sweat appeared on the forehead's of both men.
"Do not get in my way, old fool. Surely you know by now that I am the better shinobi by far."

"Shunshin Washi..." His father relented and gave up hope as he said those words, "Washi, if your going to abandon the village remember to never come back again. For you will be hunted for your betrayal but remember as long as you wear those white robes you are an Oda and you will be safe at this house."

Washi left quickly, lying to the guards that he was going out for a walk. As he left the mighty gates of Sunagakure in the blazing sun he looked out towards the vast desert, heading for his destiny...
