Hunt for the hokage

Kayn's shadow clone ran to the outer village of the sand. He formed handsigns and threw a flare in the air. Kayn had put so much chakra into the shadow clone it could actuallt take hits and perform other jutsu. The clone ran away from the gates looking for trailors, whoever was active in there should be trying to stop him. His way of checking their skills.

Paks had been training near the outskirts of Suna when she spotted a bright flash of light skim through the air. She glanced up, taking in the way it was burning and the direction it flew in. A flare?

Paks quickly set off at a steady pace, heading towards the area she projected the flare must have come from judging by the trajectory of it. She soon came across a set of footprints in the sand and began to follow them, hastening as she saw the wind stir up some sand and slowly sift to spread over the prints.

Kayn realized he had his first tracker on him. The reaction was quick and he thought he glanced her through the sand. It looked like the kazekage's assistant ninja. That meant this would be good. He used a teleportation jutsu and teleported behind a large dune, so there would be no tracks. How would she react to this?

[Paksennarion]

Paks stopped suddenly as the foot prints stopped themselves. She glanced around, there didn't appear to be foot prints farther on, so the person hadn't used a jutsu to jump ahead, nor were there foot prints that were faded or being covered up. Either she had lost whoever she was chasing, or they were still around here somewhere.

Paks tensed, extending her senses and moving her weight so that she rested on the balls of her toes. She looked around, paying special attention to anything that looked out of place, but the only thing near her was sand and sand dunes. If her senses weren't good enough, she'd just have to rely on another's senses. Paks bit her thumb and quickly summoned her two snakes, keeping both of them near her. She reached down and set her nin-snake on the ground, commanding Nagi to go off and look around for anything out of place. She knew that Nagi would be able to spot heat in her surroundings, so if someone had been by recently she may be able to see where they went, if it had been very recent.

Paks herself remained on guard, glancing around furtively with a kunai in hand and her other hand up near her hair.

Kayn watched as the girl summoned two snakes. Very smart decision, letting the snakes scope out the surrounding area. Kayn also decided to use summoning jutsu. Kayn wasn't sure what dogs to summon but he finally decided it would be his two regular trackers. He sent them running around the dunes in opposite direction hooping to catch the person off guard. Then he teleported to the dune behind the girl switching posistions but making it look like he was still at the dune in front of her.

[Paksennarion]

OOC - How'd you make it look like you were still in the dune in front of me? I didn't know you were there yet.

Paks twirled as she spotted two dogs racing around. As quickly as she could possibly manage Paks threw her kunai with one of her Kinubari senbon behind it at both of the dogs. Aiming for their heads.

That answered weather the person she was following was friendly or not. Paks grabbed another kunai, and slowly turned in a circle eying her surroundings again. She needed to find this person, and soon. Nagi was still on the move, and Paks told her to be careful. She'd rather she was slow about it and stayed hidden than if she was overt and got herself attacked. Nagi hissed something about not being that stupid, but Paks ignored her.

ooc: because the dogs came from there so i would have to be there to summon them

Kayn saw the weapons flying at the dogs but they knew better, both dogs jumped to the side and raced around the girl trying to draw her attention. He had 6 more dogs ready but he didn't think he needed them yet. Kayn slowly and silently took out his staff and extended it. He slowly used the water jutsu sealed inside it on the sand, making the ground wet and slick. The water spread all the way around the girl without telling what direction it came from. He then decided to sit and see what she did.

Paks narrowed her eyes as the dogs dodged even her Kinubari senbon. She watched them run for a second before telling her snakes to watch them. When water suddenly soaked the ground around her she noted it detachedly. What was this person trying to achieve? At any rate, she needed to locate him so she could attack. Paks reached back and pulled her parasol off her back, unfurling it with a flick of her wrist. She tossed the parasol up into the air, and used a burst of chakra to activate her jutsu. With all those senbon she was sure to find where this person was hiding.

Description:
After tossing a needle-filled umbrella into the air, this jutsu can be used to fire a barrage of hundreds of needles from sockets in the umbrella. The needles come at the enemy at Mach speed and can surround them from all directions. Chakra is utilized to control and increase the accuracy of every needle, making them impossible to dodge or evade. In the manga, it's said that the needles are capable of piercing through five millimeters of steel.

Kayn stood and watched the senbon come down. He stood in a defensive stance still hidden, watching the projected path's. He flicked his wrist throwing kunai to block the senbon, it would give away his posistion but he was going to try not to use many jutsu. He ran around the dune and threw a kunai at the girl standing there. But there was a trick, and he planned to use it.

[Paksennarion]

OOC - How are you blocking that many senbon with one kunai? Ah well.

Paks blinked calmly as she heard the tell tale sounds of a kunai hitting senbon from behind her. She turned fluidly, facing her adversary for the first time only to see the kunai coming towards her. She narrowed her eyes, only one kunai? Did he think her incompetent? Paks quickly decided to show him how competent she was, using Kawarimi no jutsu to replace herself with a senbon that had been laying on the ground near him. With a puff of smoke they switched places and she launched into action, holding a senbon in her enclosed fist as she struck out to punch the man, aiming for his neck.

ooc:only the senbon that were on a direct path to me all in a row. At some point you can realize who my char really is.

Kayn smiled, she fell for his trap, he flicked his fingers and the kunai came flying right at her back from the strings he placed on his fingers and the kunai. As it flew to her back he jumped away and cut the strings keeping it on a direct course to the girl. His mask flew off his face as he jumped and he had to cover his face with his hands. He landed behind another dune, quickly ripping a piece of his clothes to cover his face. He could only hope she hadn't seen his face.

Kayn leaned against the dune, this was an interesting fight. He bit his thumb and left it, it was a precaution in case he had to summon in the brink of battle. He glanced around. He needed to catch his breath while thinking of a next move...

Paks noted his smiled and pulled her attack short, turning slightly to see what he was doing. When she saw the kunai coming at her, it was too close to dodge fully and she was only able to twist forward so that it cut her arm rather than hit her back. The cut was pretty deep, and it began to bleed freely.

Paks pulled the kunai out and tossed it to the ground, holding her arm out in front of her as the blood flowed heavier. Hn, that would draw this battle shorter. Paks glared at her arm, spitefully. It should have gotten out of the way, it was it's own fault that it was cut really. Ignoring her arm pointedly, Paks looked around, and saw that her opponent wasn't out in the open anymore. Did she need a repeat of last time?

"Who are you and what are you doing in Suna?" Her voice was hard and surprisingly steady for such a young person.

[Sukoppu]

*Sukoppu walked out of the gates, followed by a child.* "Where are you going Mr. Sukoppu?" said the child. "I am going out to find Paks-chan. It has been awhile, and I am getting worried about her." *The child nodded his head and skipped off merrily. Sukoppu walked out of the gates off the village, following his way out to the desert area. He held only 3 packs of cards with him, and had his long robe cut. He left arm of the robe was gone, revealing much of his muscle, while his other robe remained long and flowing. He noticed Paks within the distance, quickly applying his glove to his hand. He dashed to her, moving extremely fast. He stopped about halfway, noticing the dogs.* "Whats going on?" *He asked, extremely concerned.*

OOC - See! I like this character so much better than Ukokei-san.

Paks tilted her head slightly, to stare at Sukoppu-san before returning her gaze to her surroundings.

"There is a trespasser. He appears to be able to summon nin-dog's and use water based jutsu. I have yet to discern what his intent is, but we have fought which implies that he is not here for anything beneficial to Suna," she summed up the situation seeing as Sukoppu-san was her superior officer.

[Sukoppu]

*Sukoppu popped a smile.* "You scope him out. I'll handle the nin-dogs. If anything comes to harm you..." *He pulled out a small whistle and handed it to her.* "Blow it, and I'll be right there with you." *He quickly popped open a pack of cards around his waist, pulling out two ace's. They burst into flames, but remained intact. He jumped above Paks, quickly launching them at the two dogs.* "Get moving." *He said grinning, his smile glistening through the sandy air.*

[Paksennarion]

Paks nodded, her nin-snake quickly telling her that she had finally located the person, or so she thought. Paks edged around the sand dunes, until she was on the outside of the circle they had been fighting in. She grabbed another kunai and looked around, trying to spot the enemy shinobi.

[Sukoppu]

*Sukoppu continued throwing the cards at the dogs, until finally he spilled out the deck. The cards floated around him, holding him up. They all burst into flames.* "What to do with these. Maybe if I use my fold technique I could beat them."

Kayn grinned, this was going to get bigger and bigger. He would need some more back-up. With his thumb still bit hew summoned his attack hound, weighing over 200 pounds and over 8ft tall. The dog ran around the dune and stood on the right side. He then retreated one of his other hounds to the left. With the last one guarding the front. He stood up and held his hand in the air, as he lowered it the dogs ran at his opponents. He then teleported behind his new enemy while again pulling out his staff and spraying a jet of water that would blow a whale 100 feet in the air.

As kayn sprayed a shadow clone ran at his other opponent, the girl, it would be interesting to see who else might show up. He quickly spun out of the way in case of a couterattack whiloe his clone sent two kunai at its opponent followed by two shuriken. When they neared their target they blew, but far enough away not to severly injure its target.

[Paksennarion]

Paks dove forward, into the explosion. The force propelled her forward, along with causing several bad burns. As she was thrown forward, she manuvered herself so that she would be thrown into the shadow clone, and she grabbed one of her special senbon, holding it in such a way that she would stab the clone with it if she hit him. Paks was hoping that her reckless gamble would work and the force from the explosion would give her enough added speed to land a hit.

Kayn just glanced back as the girl destroyed his shadow clone. He didn't have time to waste, he used the highest pressure he could with the most chakra of water aimed at the newcomer. When it hit it would momentarily take him out of the fight. Then he could focus on one enemy. He aimed the shot and fired, sending all he could spare to the blast. What he didn't notice was the girl coming up behind him....

ooc: shinichi just go with it we have a plan.

OOC - Dun...Dun...Dun..^__^

Paks gripped her senbon tightly as she hit the clone, feeling the minute resistance for only a split second as the clone poof out of existence. She was thrown forward, easily maneuvering so that she landed in a crouch. She sprung forward, utilizing her leg muscles, to lunge at the enemy shinobi while his back was turned. Quickly she grabbed one of her special senbon, dropping the one she had in hand, and aimed for the back of his neck. If this hit landed the fight should end soon. She wasn't about to allow this random shinobi to harm Suppoku-san, and tarnish the Suna shinobi name as easily as he had done.

Kayn just noticed the girl in time. He jumped but not high enough, the senbon was stabbed into his thigh. He grimaced with the pain and his leg started going numb and it was spreading. He had just enough spin that unfortunatly the senbon ripped his mask off showing his true face. Before he fell unconcious he uttered "hokage..."

[Paksennarion]

Paks pulled back short, her next attack frozen in mid-execution. She turned to Suppoku-san, "Is he the Hokage? I've never met him before, and as such I am unable to say."

Paks figured the Jounin would know, him being good friends with the Kazekage. If it was the Hokage, why had he attacked? Was Konoha declaring war on Suna?

[Sukoppu]

*Sukoppu coughed and smiled.* "Awkward that you would come here at a time like this." *He said bowing to the Hokage.* "Kayn, Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village. Though I am second in command to the Kazekage I still possess the rights to ask you why you are here?" *The dog which had attacked him earlier was knocked back with a card in his paw. The card vanished, and the wound on the dog healed.* "I would expect better of the Hokage to come in and assault a Jounin and Genin of the Suna village."

"I have to say you reacted slowly" kayn said weakly. "If this was a real attack you wouldnt get a warning and you would have alot more ninja". Kayn glanced at the young girl "So you are a genin, very impressive for one so young." Kayn looked at the jounin, "This was a test, and as for the meaning i need to make sure you are still as ready as you were." Kayn stood weakly and leaned on his dog.
