Personality: Comes off as shy but he just doesn’t like to start conversations. He is actually quite talkative if you take the time to speak to him. He is an easygoing guy who prefers to avoid conflict, but will fight if necessary. He is constantly reading some book, only stopping to train or if someone is talking to him. During combat he acts kind of cold, but would never abandon a friend. Uses his wind jutsu to sharpen and lengthen weapons and to increase the speed of his projectiles.

Special Characteristics: Long Sight- special eye technique of the Aroshi clan. It allows the user to see many times further than normal ninja when active. The downside is that while active the user can not see anything within a 100 foot radius of themselves. One must train with the Long Sight in order to achieve it’s full power.
He has a large scar on his back.

History/Background Story: Ryoga was originally from the Hidden Sand Village but his family was exiled from the Aroshi clan because Ryoga’s mother, Hima, tried to teach secret clan jutsu to an outsider. Hima was killed by assassins not long after and Ryoga’s father, Nakime, fled the Sand with his 8 month old son. He went to the Leaf to escape the angered clan. Once there he founded a bookstore called “Pinpoint Reading”. Ryoga was taught simple wind-jutsu and archery by his father. Nakime was generally a nice person, but has warned Ryoga never to mention his mother. When Ryoga was 8 he tried to question his father about his mother and would not take no for an answer. Nakime became so furious that he “accidentally” put a large gash in Ryoga’s back. Ryoga still has a large scar on his back from this. Ever since then Ryoga has secretly feared and hated his father but never shows it. Ryoga dreams of finding his mother one day and teaching ninja to be great. But he has to go through the academy yet.

Role Play Sample: Ryoga sits under the shade of a nearby tree reading one of his favorite books. While he is reading, a kunai is thrown at him from a tree 30 feet away. Using his book he blocks the kunai and throws multiple shuriken into the tree. An enemy ninja clad in all black drops from the tree with two of the shuriken in his left arm. “That was pretty good” says the mysterious ninja,” but my technique is bet-.” Ryoga had not wasted time explaining his actions like the other foolish ninja. Quickly jumping up, he than sent five kunai straight at the ninja. The ninja managed to avoid them all but not the wires attached to them. The ninja was quite tied up. “Have a nice read” Ryoga says as he props his book on the ninja’s chest. On the front page is an explosive tag, which explodes killing the enemy ninja. “Well looks like I’ll have to see if Dad has a new copy of “The Art of Explosions” in,” Ryoga says as he heads home.
