Re: Ramen shop
Onbin had known nothing good would happen as soon as he eard the door open. He quietly ate his ramen hoping the boy wouldn't notice him. When he heard the boy talking to him he almost let out a sigh. He built up his voice and quietly spoke. "It's alright"

Re: Ramen shop
She looked around slowly, she had never been in the ramen shop before, even though she had passed it many times before. She knew that normally the other Genin would come here and socialize, but Paks never really participated in those things.
She saw two children over in one corner, and looked up at Amimono-san to see what he would do.

Re: Ramen shop
Anei entered the ramen shop slowly, looking around, then smiled down at Paks, patting her head before taking a seat in front of the counter, motioning for her to do the same. He shuffled around for his money pouch and pulled it from an inner pocket on his coat, black leather, like most things he owned.
"I suppose you have no idea what kind of ramen you like, do you. Hmmm."

Re: Ramen shop
Paks sat down next to him, closer to the door so that she would draw attention first. She managed to ignore the pat on the head this time.
"No Amimono-san. You have had ramen before, right?"

Re: Ramen shop
He nodded, waving an arm to flag down the shop owner.
"Yes, I have, although I've never sampled any of the ramen here in the sand village. I suppose when in doubt, beef is classic. Two bowls of beef ramen, please."
Anei smiled kindly to the shop owner, handing over the appropriate amount of yen with a gloved hand.

Re: Ramen shop
Paks nodded in agreement. She waited patiently for the ramen to come. Warily watching the two across the room out of the corner of her eye.

Anei exchanged money with the man and put his pouch away, following Paks' gaze as she watched the other two in the shop. He winked at her whispering.
"Don't worry."

Re: Ramen shop
Paks blinked at him. She wasn't as discreet as she had hoped than. Paks nodded.
"I do not really know any of the other children around. I do not have teammates yet."

Re: Ramen shop
Anei smiled knowingly at her as the bowls of ramen were placed in front of them.
"I know."
He turned to look at his food, studying it for a moment before picking up his chopsticks and pulling a bite into his mouth despite the steam that rose from the hot bowls.

Re: Ramen shop
Paks picked up her chopsticks and carefully poked the ramen. She grabbed one strand of noodle and held it over the bowl, letting the hot liquid drop off it. When she thought that it was cool enough to eat, she tried some.
"Amimono-san, it is good," she said this in a sort of disbeliving tone. She had been expecting it to be bad, or something close to that. For why else, would a food be bad for you?

"Really? This would be my first tme eating here..."
Isaku notice fro the corner of his eyes, two more customers walking in. The place seemed to be getting more lively it seemed. He turned his attention back at the boy.

Re: Ramen shop
Anei smiled as the two other people in the shop continued with their own busy lives. the simple truth was, it was easier to get away with things than people thought. Most people just couldn't be bothered to assume everything that everyone else assumed they would assume. He continued to eat away at his ramen smiling happily as Paks seemed to approve of the food.
"I'm glad you like it."

Re: Ramen shop
Paks carefully pulled out another noodle, letting it cool. She focused intently on maintaining a steady grip on the chopsticks, trying not to let her hand shake. She paused to nod at Amimono-san's comment and then ate her noodle.

Re: Ramen shop
Anei chuckled watching her eat, one noodle at a time, slowly and carefully, even as he all but scooped them into his mouth. He hadn't even bothered to remove his gloves, which he normally did when eating.

Re: Ramen shop
Paks continued until she ran out of noodles. Then she pondered what exactly she should do with the bowl full of broth. She watched Amimono-san seeing what he would do.

Re: Ramen shop
Anei looked at her puzzlement and could not help but laugh softly. He hadn't let all of his broth drip off his noodles but there was still plenty left behind. He picked his bowl up in his hands and began to slurp down the broth, winking at her again.

Re: Ramen shop
Paks watched him for a few seconds before emulating his actions. Although she tried to be quiet about it. The broth tasted just as good as the noodles had to her delight.

Anei smiled seeing she had been quiet about her consumption of the broth. He set his empty bowl down on the table and stretched, patting his now full stomach happily.
"Very good."

Anei bowed his head to her, pushing the two bowls back to the shop owner, smiling at her.

Re: Ramen shop
Paks smiled again. She let a feeling of contentment fill her, normally Paks rushed around to accomplish things, she never really slowed down, or let herself stop doing things. She seemed to be finding things that she had never noticed she didn't have lately.

Re: Ramen shop
Anei grinned seeing her smile again, taking a moment to let his food settle, relaxing on the stool. He looked upward, pondering for a moment.
"Hmm, Paks-chan, would you teach me to use senbon?"

Re: Ramen shop
Paks looked up at him, "You don't know how?"
Paks thought about this for a second... She had never really seen anyone else using senbon either. Although the Kazekage threw them back at her when she attacked him with them, she just assumed... She had always been using senbon, Paks could not really remember learning how to use them, but they were her weapon of choice. If Amimono-san didn't know something, than she should help him. It might be useful for him later.
Paks nodded to him, "Okay. I can try."

Re: Ramen shop
He chuckled a little at her surprise and shrugged.
"I never really tried, though you seem to be very good with them. I'm sure if i practiced enough I could get the basics but they are so much faster and more precise than shuriken or kunai there must be some trick to it."
