Koku Vs Kojima and Chieko

[Ijin]

Koku leads them in a open place on the outskirts of the town where the sun beat down hard. He looked at the two as if he was thinking about something else. "Well here we are you two can make the first move." He said then looking at the sky.

[Chieko]

Chieko began to sweat a little and loosened her scarf a little more.
"Senseeei! It's too hot! Let's go train in a pool!" She whines a little then finally decides to take her scarf off.

[Ijin]

"Think of the heat as a motivation to impress me. I still don't know what your talking about its only a little warm." Koku said smiling and still looking into the sky. "Any time tou want to start."

[Anei]

*Kojima watches Chieko fussing about the heat while he unbuttons his shirt just a little, then turning his attention to Koku-sensei as he flipped open the pouch on his leg holding his shuriken. Taking slow steady breaths he stood there, waiting for Chieko to be ready*

[Chieko]

Chieko wipes the sweat off from her forehead lightly after folding and placing her scarf to the side. She looks around carefully and frowns a little.
'There's not much water around here... I don't think I can make a full staff...' She digs down into her own pouch and pulls out two kunai herself, one in each hand to replicate her twin water staffs.
'I hope this won't change anything.' She looks down at the two kunai and spins them into place by the handle. She wasn't very fond of sharp things.

[Anei]

*Kojima watched Chieko for a bit longer, then bit his lip hanging his head a little. She seemed slow to get going...Kojima hated starting things off, he wasn't naturally aggressive. However, it seemed it couldn't be helped. Licking his lips he took a breath and charged at Koku-sensei, Hurling two shuriken at the same time, following it by a few seconds with a kunai, ready to jump in with a high snap kick after he closed the distance*

[Ijin]

Koku avoided then shurikens he then started to do a few handsigns and shouted. "Goukayuu no Jutsu - Great Fireball Technique." He shoot it at Kojima then shifted it at Chieko. He then quickly drew a katana out. His face was not as it was usaully it seemed gloomy.

Description: Goukakyuu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The ninja does the necessary hand seals, draws chakra from their mouth into their chest and them immediately exhales it. They then blow a stream of fire which erupts into a large sphere of flames. To better manage the flames the ninja will bring their hand to their mouth to control it.

[Chieko]

Her eyes grew wide at an intense heat from the jutsu and the area itself. She groaned lightly forcing her body to jump to the side. Her body was still in range of the jutsu and in midair as the fire raged closer. She pressed down on her weight to get back down till her toe lightly tapped the ground.
"Shunpo!" Her body flashed once more and reappeared father in the same direction she was going and landed in a roll. As her body came back up straight she, threw one of the kunais in hand and began to charge herself.

[Anei]

*Kojima bit his lip as the flames roared quickly towards him, leaping straight up into the air, and pulled out another kunai as the flames licked at his feet, wondering how much Koku sensei might remember his fighting style. Throwing the kunai at his opponent, he pulled a fresh one out while he used the replacement jutsu on the thrown kunai before it got out of range, but after it had travelled some distance, bringing him closer, and threw the second kunai, at a new angle this time*

[Ijin]

Koku looked at the kunais that were tossed and took a note of them. Koku jumped up in the air and pulled out another one of his katanas. He did a downward slash towards Chieko with one. Koku made sure to see where those kunais were flying.

[Anei]

*his kunai flying just a few feet in front of him, Kojima was falling straight towards koku sensei. his last kunai he pulled out for defensive purposes against the katana, and pulled his foot back for a side kick at Koku-sensei's torso, biting his lip*

[Chieko]

She stopped dead in her tracks barely stepping out of the way of the slash. Her left sleeve gets caught into the blade, letting her feel the katana graze her skin, causing her to wince. As the katana comes down, she raises her foot in a familiar fashion putting all her strength into the kick to disarm one of Koku's weapons.
"Shoufuu!" She yells.

[Ijin]

Koku took Kojima's kick on and grabbed his leg he then pulled Kojima in front of Chiekos kick. He did a backflip away and started to do familar hadsigns and said. "Goukakyuu no Jutsu - Great Fireball Technique." His face still had the same depressed look on his face.

[Chieko]

Chieko grows wide eyed at how fast Koku was and panics even more at that fact Kojima was in the range for her kick. Her eyes also starts to glaze over with a fiery color from their sensei's jutsu and she yells no able to react for anything in time.
"Ahh! Sensei!"

[Anei]

*cursing as he feels his foot grabbed again, he feels like he doesnt have enough time to fight back, and sees he is correct as Chieko's foot comes straight for his jaw. taking in a very quick breath, he uses the replacement jutsu on a stone resting behind Chieko as he feels the impending heat of another fire technique. Hearing Chieko's panicked cry he bites his lip roughly, grabbing her by the waist as he bursts his chakra into his reflexes, executing the shunshin technique and flickering out of the way of the fireball, landing with a small skid in the sand 15 meters out*

[Ijin]

Koku finally snapped from his daze from the yell of his student. He quickly strung the proper handsigns together and said. "Takitsubo no Jutsu - Waterfall Basin Technique." He flooded the area turning to the ground into mud and the fire being put out. Koku gave out a loud phew and waited for the two to resurface.

[Chieko]

Chieko's heart pounded remembering faintly of a red giant, a strong pull around her waist, and now a wet surrounding. Her air bubbles out of her lips as she breathes in a little water and kicks herself to the surface. She lets out a gasping breath and pants lightly looking over at her sensei.
'H-He could have...' She thought, afraid to think of her sensei that way. She looked around for Kojima wondering if he was able to escape harm too.

[Anei]

*Having surfaced slightly behind her, he sets his eyes on Koku sensei. Since Washi-sensei was incredibly harsh with his training, even the chance of being burnt had seemed minimal consequence. But looking at Chieko, he could see she was clearly shaken by the occurrence. Tapping her shoulder as he steadied his breathing he chewed his lip a little* "You ok?"

[Ijin]

Koku had a look of dispare on his face andfell to the ground. "I almost... Damn it Koku can you do anything right." He said to himself. "I'm I better than any other those Itamis. I nearly killed the only one I care about. I need some time to think." Koku looked at Chieko and Kojima and shouted over there "You two continue training, I need to go do something." Koku said running away into the town.

[Chieko]

She only frowned hearing Kojima ask her if she was okay.
'Do I look that shaken?' She stared at Koku until he yelled and started running off suddenly. She tried to swim and run after him in the water but just couldn't keep up.
"Koku-sensei!" Her eyes just fell into a deeper worry seeing him for the first time, run away from her.

[Anei]

*Kojima bit his lip uncomfortably watching the scene, not caring as he usually would that his shirt was soaked and drooping. He thought back briefly to his spar with Matsutsu. His fellow genin had lost it, and severely injured his arm. swimming onto a nearby boulder above the water, Kojima then used the replacement technique on Chieko, setting her firmly on the rock before shunshining again to stand next to her, looking down at her almost sadly* "Best to let him go...He'll be back, I'm sure"

[Chieko]

She blinked and shook it off, and reached her hand out to where her sensei had disappeared to. She opened her mouth to call him again, but stopped as Kojima spoke to her. Her shoulders dropped along with the corners of her lips into a soft frown.
'Koku...' She thought, leaving out sensei, not for a lost of respect but like a motherly worry she had for him as a friend.

[Anei]

*Kojima bit his lip a little looking out to where Koku had gone off, the water from his technique almost gone, the dry desert sucking it up greedily. Taking a seat next to Chieko, he removed his shirt to ring it out, hoping his kunai weren't all lost in the mud*

[Chieko]

Chieko jumped off the rock seeing as the water wasn't so high anymore to prevent her from walking around. She put her hand on her forehead to shield the sun as she searched for her missing scarf. After a moment of scanning the area, she spots it wet and unfolded in a puddle of water and runs up to it. She begins to squeeze the water out of every inch of it and wraps it back over her neck, as she looks off to where her sensei was last spotted. She takes off in a run after him, still dripping with water and all.

[Anei]

*Seeing her run off Kojima sighs and leaps off the rock, running after her, not to catch, her, but to follow her. Like an infatuated schoolgirl chasing an uninterested teacher, he thought. It was nice that they were close, but an infatuation like this, no, what almost seemed like a need, was only going to end badly. Throwing his shirt on as he followed her, Kojima chewed his lip nervously, wondering what there was between these two, and what sort of trouble it was going to cause*
