Chieko can sometimes be seen walking around with a snow-white ferret named Toji, her family's pet, at her shoulders.

Looks:
She always preferred long hair despite the hindrance it caused during her training. Her hair shines jet black and stays always tied up in a bun behind her head. Her bangs hang loose over her right eye. She mostly keeps the left side of her face clear in order to see where she goes. She mostly wears bright clothing to offset the calm look she always keeps on her face, mostly of her favorite color, orange. Currently, She wears very light-weighted clothing consisting of an orange half tank top covered over by a net shirt, an orange headband, beige shorts cutting off right above her knees and net leggings with the official ninja sandals at her feet. Her most notable part of her attire is the large scarf she keeps wrapped around her neck.

Personality:
When first encountering Chieko, she's a shy child. She never has much to say, replying only to those that speak to her first. Even when spoken to, she keeps her replies short and mostly one worded. She always feels awkward leaving leaving her answer just as that so she always ends her sentence with a smile. She usually stays far off from groups or when she's feeling lonely she'll stick around what friends she has, trying to fit in. When she feels she needs to hide or is feeling down she snugs her lips into the thick orange scarf wrapped around her neck. Some who are close to Chieko are able to see her true side, a very charismatic girl who cheers on with a smile, giving positive advice to bring her friends spirits up when their spirits are down. When called into action, Chieko drops her personality, keeping a calm face with the most two most important conditions kept in her mind, the completion of the mission and her only companions lives.

Skills/Specialties:
Because of Chieko's family, mostly her mother, she's become accustomed to using very defensive ninjutsu, especially ones that hide her to make an opening. In a way, her mother's beatings have taught her to be a very stealthy person. She also has taken a liking to ninjutsu that are able to enhance her taijutsu. Chieko does have ninjutsu, whose main purpose is to attack, but utilizes them, sometimes with the environment too, in order to guard herself. Because of her shy personality, Chieko tends to approach a battle much like a social one, 'Think what you must do, then keep thinking what to do next. Don't always stare at their eyes, watch their body movements too. Keep your guard up for both your body and mind, keep both strong and ready to retaliate.'

Jutsu Style:
Although she does like using Taijutsu while spicing it up with Ninjutsu, Chieko mainly uses Ninjutsu to create an opening then going in for the final strike with Taijutsu.

- A quick rising kick aimed at the opponent or the opponents weapon. Used mostly for disarming.

History/Background Story:
Chieko's Family, the Takai, had many of its members, especially women, being more unsuspecting, become Anbu, handling many assassinations, thus the family was always affiliated with death. Many of it's members were also considered to have a short life span due to the dangerous missions that were assigned. Chieko, herself, was expected to become Anbu along her path to becoming a ninja, but that's not what she desired. Chieko, as a young child, was taught in her early stages was already being taught to control chakra and the basics of ninjutsu along with assassination techniques, although her lack of enthusiasm for killing left her with nothing.

She was also forced to learn to control her emotions, any out bursts like laughing would be left in punishment. She learned to keep calm in certain situations but when her family is no where to be seen, she is able to smile more often. One day, Chieko was caught by her mother horsing around with her friends. With a straight face her mother punched her eye as a punishment, injuring her right eye. Her right eye has healed to its full shape but is still scarred, causing her to lose some sight in it. She now mostly covers it with her bangs and uses her left eye mainly to see.

Chieko was always stressed as her family always talked about their missions, always ending in deaths. She often left home, some times running away, to avoid her family in search of something new. She one day came across an old tea shop, the alluring scent dragging her in, where the owner of the shop, an old stout man greeted her kindly. He listened to what her family had planned for her and pitied her. He gave her old advice saying to do what you want as long as you don\t have regrets. Chieko finally found someone who understood her and came back often to the old man's tea shop. He taught her much about what he new about tea but what fascinated her the most was the medicinal capabilities that each tea leaf and herb had. From then on, Chieko dreamt of becoming a Medical ninja in order to study more and give life a second chance instead of taking without giving a chance.

Roleplay Sample:
She quietly stood next to her mother, hiding her face behind her bangs and her scarf leaving her left eye the only thing visible. She knew to behave like a young woman when she was around her mother even though she was only a little girl. She stood up straight her hands to her sides, feet together, as she and her mother stood before the academy. Today was the day if she would be accepted or not. I hope I'm accepted...' She prayed quietly to herself. She could only imagine what course her life would take if she wasn't. 'There's always the tea shop...' she assured herself in an attempt to lift her spirits.
