Genin Acceptance

[Paksennarion]

Paks walked along the dusty streets of Sunagakure. After a few minutes she came to a small compound. There was a metal fence surrounding it. She walked over to the gate and deftly unlocked it, pushing it open with a light tap. Paks stepped inside the grounds, shutting the gate behind her with a small ‘click’. Paks looked up at the collection of small houses, there were only a handful of them. She slowly walked along the main path until she reached on of the houses near the front of the cluster. It was made of adobe bricks as were most other buildings in Suna. She walked up to the front door and quietly let herself in, taking her shoes off and placing them inside the getabako. Paks looked around, listening for the sound of voices to indicate where her parents were. She heard the sounds of voices in a room down the hall. Paks walked forward towards the doorway. She knocked politely.

“Come in.”

Paks opened the door and walked into the room. Her parents were sitting around a low table talking. They had paused their conversation when Paks had knocked. She bowed low to them, hands in front of her, making sure to hold the bow for awhile. She saw out of her peripheral vision when her Father motioned for her to stand up again. She did so slowly.

“Father, I passed my Genin Exams today. I am now officially a Genin according to the Kazekage,” she said quietly.

Her Father stared at her for a few minutes, assessing her. “Did you have any difficulty?”

Paks shook her head, “No sir.”

“Good,” he glanced up at her hitai-ate, “and the Kazekage is still willing to be your teacher? He hasn’t deemed you too weak?”

“No sir. He told me that I am now officially his student.”

“Hn,“ he shifted a little, “You are doing well so far. Continue to please the Clan.” Paks nodded. “If that is all, you may go,” he told her already turning back to face her mother. She bowed again and then left, shutting the door quietly behind herself.

[Kiza Byarigan]

As she closed the door Kiza was standing there infront of her.
'Seems like this little girl just wants her father's acceptance.' Kiza thought to himself.

[Paksennarion]

OOC - Wait... You're behind me? Waa!

Paks had been automatically reaching for a senbon, when she actually recognized him. "Kazekage-sama?" Paks looked startled before quickly returning to her usual straight face.

"Do you need something Kazekage-sama?"

[Kiza Byarigan]

"I just came to see how the news of telling your father of your new Genin status went."
Kiza already knew, but wanted to see what she would say.

[Paksennarion]

"Oh," a smiled flitted across her face, "He seemed happy about it." Paks looked back at the door, "I am being a good representative for the Clan," she added on as an after thought.

[Kiza Byarigan]

"Of course Paks, you show great work and you're only 6 at that." Kiza said smiling, "Wait until you are my age, you will be like a master."

[Paksennarion]

Paks nodded, smiling at him slightly.

"If you say so Kazekage-sama."

[Kiza Byarigan]

"No Paks, I know you will as long as you stay true to the shinobi way like you should."

[Paksennarion]

Paks nodded. Of course she would. What else was there?

"Okay."

[Kiza Byarigan]

"So what are you about to do now Paks?" Kiza asked in curiousity.

[Paksennarion]

"Train," she said as turning her head back to face him she walked outside.

[Kiza Byarigan]

Kiza followed Paks outside.
"How are you going to train today?"

[Paksennarion]

"I am not sure," Paks cocked her head to the side. "Perhaps I should work on my stamina."

[Kiza Byarigan]

"You want to race around the village then Paks?" Kiza asked giving a smile.

[Paksennarion]

Paks nodded, "Sure." Of course the Village was large, so this would be a notable undertaking. And the fact that they were racing was also an issue seeing as she couldn't possibly beat the Kazekage... But it would be good practise.

[Kiza Byarigan]

Kiza flipped backwards landing on his hands.
"I'm ready." He said, thinking of what Paks was thinking.

[Paksennarion]

Paks stared. "We are racing on our hands?"

[Kiza Byarigan]

"I am going to, but you don't have to. It's a excellent work out for your arms though." Kiza replied back.

[Paksennarion]

"If you are, than I shall too." Paks tumbled forward, pushing her arms out so that she was in a hand-stand.

[Kiza Byarigan]

Kiza though Paks was going to do this.
"You know kiddo, I think of you as great. You really have alot of determination and you don't let pain get in your way." Kiza said smiling.
"Well I'm ready whenever you give the word."

[Paksennarion]

Paks nodded at the compliment. "I am ready." She took a step forward, keeping her balance. She would have to do this slowly, or else she'd topple over. Luckily Paks was good at flexibility and the hand-stand part of this was not that hard. She took another step.

[Kiza Byarigan]

Kiza took two steps as well, but moving a little faster and starting his third. He had done this many times before when younger and trained at it, making him more fit and allowing him to be able to do this more easily than Paks. He was still impressed she could do it at all at the age of 6. He took his fourth, then fifth steps, and continued to keep going on.

[Paksennarion]

Paks hurried to catch up, starting to feel the strain of her body weight on her wrists. She followed the Kazekage, a bit behind him. Plodding on determindly.
