Name of Clan: Rikkai ~ Spirit Weasel Clan

This clan symbol was chosen to represent the Rikkai clans mountain, along with the dominant breed of weasels the snow weasels.


Kekkei Genkai: Different per section of the mountain.
Mountain Peak: The peak weasels live in a harsh cold climate at the top of the mountain. They have the Ability to transform into pure white snow weasels (Eye color is determined by human eye color), they are the smallest of the clan weasels. They are unable to speak when in weasel form and would be a normal weasel except with the kekkei genkai and human intelligence, some have mastered the art of speaking as a weasel, but it is a difficult art which only few in the Rikkai clan have mastered, this is difficult due to weasels being usually quiet creatures. When in Weasel form they are halted in aging and only age when in human form. Have the ability to phase through walls, organisms, the ground, jutsus, weapons/projectiles, but only as long as they hold their breath and mentally willingly choose to phase. They are also immune to cold temperatures. None of their Kekkei Genkai use chakra.
Forest: The forest weasels live in the middle/lower sections of the mountain in the trees, they transform into brown furred weasels with eye color determined by human eye color. The ability to being unable to speak is similar to the peak weasels (read above). The forest weasels are able to steal life force from living creatures after killing them, so if a forest weasel were to kill a 20 year old man they would add 20 years to their life, or same for killing trees/etc this is done only in weasel form. The forest weasels are able to blend and camouflage's with their surroundings making them excellent assassins. None of their Kekkei Genkai use chakra.
River: The river weasels live in the middle, higher and lower sections of the mountain around the rivers, lakes, and other bodies of water on the mountain. The river weasels which are actually otters have glossy brown fur which is water proof their eye color is also determined by human eye color they are the largest variation of the clan. The otters are able to copy the age of someone else by looking at them, if they look at someone and that person is 17 the otter would turn 17 they can only do this in weasel form. The otters are excellent swimmers and are able to have limited teleportation, they are able to teleport to about 5 feet max per session which they can use unlimitedly. None of their Kekkei Genkai require chakra. They also have the ability of sensing vibrations.
Plains: The weasels live at the bottom of the mountain and have brown or beige or yellow fur, their eyes are their human eye color. The plain weasels have the ability to sense movement and have acute hearing they are able to hear things from miles away, and are able to also eliminate sound coming from movement, They have control over sound waves and how loud sounds are. The plain weasels can also transfer age by touching someone, so for example if they were 24 and touched someone who was 12 and wanted to transfer 10 of their years to the other person the person who was 12 is now 22 and the weasel is 14 and vice versa, this is done only in weasel form. They can filter poisonous gases and render them harmless. None of their Kekkei genkai require chakra
Rocky Terrain: The Weasels that live in the rocky parts of the mountain are black, grey, or brown in coloration and eye color is the same as in human form. The weasels in the rocky parts of the mountain are able to change the level of hardness of rocks so thus they can transform a rock into sand and vice versa. They also have the ability to change the speed of aging when in weasel form and can choose to age 1 year a second or 1 second a year. They also can smell things from miles away. None of their Kekkei Genkai require chakra.

Special Characteristic: The Rikkai clan can summon Weasels which are the main summon, these are the main summonings for most Rikkai clan members, The weasels from summonings are able to speak along with perform jutsu, there are also Ferret summonings, and some have gone into more branched out summonings for otters and wolverines. Aka they have Mustelidae family summonings. They are great hunters and are able to live by hunting and foraging for food, they are also skilled assassins and are very intelligent and wise.

Description: The clan was formed long before the forming of Konoha, the genetics of this clan are alone and have no branchings except for different weasel types/color, this is one of the older clans of the world. The founder of the clan was Hajime Rikkai who was originally not a ninja, he was the owner of a small farm he was the first one to be born with a genetic mutation and be born with this. The village was afraid of his power and banished him from the village which was soon to be the future Konoha after many years, He was banished into the nearby mountain and he came with his wife Chiyo Atakiko. The two eventually had many children who then married and had their own children/etc till the clan became rather large and the people created a large village in the mountain. During the majority of the Rikkai clan there haven't been many wars due to being on the top of a mountain and keeping safe from invaders, along with not being well known and hidden. The only recorded war in the Rikkai clan was a civil war between the higher and lower mountain groups, also the forest weasels vs the snow weasels. The civil war began with the lower mountain clan members complaining about the water being polluted and thus making their clan members sick and that the source of the pollution arose from the upper mountain clan. The forest weasels thus attacked, but due to the factors of the lower weasels being sick and at a elevation disadvantage the forest weasels were eliminated, 20% of the Rikkai clan is forest weasels, which 80% are snow weasels. After the war the upper mountain decided to create a reservoir for the lower clan. The peace lasted and is still lasting. Soon later Konoha was built and thus the Rikkai clan joined Konoha, but stayed in their mountain and remained not that known still, but certain adventurous Rikkai clan members came down and became ninja along with creating their own little area in Konoha. The Rikkai clan lived normally and nothing really happened to them, until the great plague of the Rikkai where a unknown genetic disease was transfered throughout the clan and thus 96% of the Rikkai clan was wiped out the clan is endangered now, the genetic disease was quarantined within the clan and is no longer a problem, but the Rikkai clan is trying to recover. The Rikkai clan is currently an endangered clan, they are also pure blooded and are one of the original clans which came before Konoha. The three main branches in the clan are the Snow Weasels which reside on the top of the mountain, then the Forrest Weasels on the Mid area/bottom of the mountain. and Finally there is the Field Weasels which live at the foot of the mountain and in the surrounding area. There are some sub-species of the clan such as Tree Weasels/etc, but they're percentage in the whole is minuscule.

Country: In a mountain to the east of Konoha (Mt. Naoki), In the country of Fire.

Clan Jutsus: The Rikkai clan doesn't have any of their own Jutsu, but instead each individual Rikkai uses their own custom made jutsus which are mainly a mixture of their Kekkei Genkai and strategy and how they use it to their advantage.
