Kuchinawa Clan
Kuchinawa Clan
Summary:
Loosely translating to "rotten rope", the Kuchinawa clan prides itself in its poisonous blood. There comes a point in their life where their body basically lives on the poison that courses through their veins. This poisonous trait lends them very well to their namesake, snakes. They have a connection with snakes in a similar way that Inuzuka have with canines, though less friendly, and much creepier. Like the Inuzuka Clan they have familiars, snake familiars instead of dogs.
History:
They used to be a huge Clan but they were decimated after being driven out of most villages due to their eccentricities. After years of persecution they came to Suna. They were nearly extinct at that point and in order to get the Kazekage to agree to letting them stay, they were forced to agree that any of their children in the future would be enrolled into the ninja academy and serve Suna with their lives. That was a long time ago and currently they number barely into the double digits. The Clan is obsessed with gaining power, and respect in their new home, anything less than perfection is a failure to them as they try and bring their Clan back to the power it used to have, into the respect they feel they should have again.
Traits:
All members of the Kuchinawa Clan have slightly elongated canines. They have different colored markings on their body, generally the markings are brightly colored, they resemble the markings on poisonous snakes and are thought to be a warning to others of the Kuchinawa's poisonous blood. Some of them have a slight hiss when they talk, and most have slitted eyes.

Re: Kuchinawa Clan
Clan jutsu:
Name: Bodi-to-ku Hebi
Type: Supplementary
Range: Unlimited
Rank: D
CK usage: 3
Description: The bloodline of the Kuchinawa Clan. It allows the user to communicate with snake and control their familiars if they have one. It uses body motion and a range of hisses.
Name: Doku Men'eki (Poison Immunity)
Rank: C
Type: Clan jutsu
CK usage: 5
Description: Kuchinawa Clan members are heavily obsessed with their poisonous blood. They have studied it for years along with their snake companions venom. Through these studies they have unlocked the secret to poisons and created a jutsu to counter-act them. The user needs to be close enough to touch the victim for this jutsu to work. As long as the user has felt the poison that's being used themselves they can cure the victim. This jutsu can also give temporary immunity to a poison so long as the user has experienced it themselves before hand. In order for the jutsu to work, the victim must let the users nin-snake bite them and inject them with an anti-venom.
Name: Koutai
Rank: C
Type: Clan jutsu
CK usage: 5
Description: This is the second level of the jutsu Doku Men’eki. It was created after much experimenting among Clan’s members when they realized how much chakra you would waste if you were consistently using Doku Men’eki on yourself in battle, especially because Doku Men’eki takes such a long time to perform. This jutsu can only be used on Clan members and has to follow the use of the jutsu Doku Men’eki immediately. Instead of just curing the poison affecting the Clans member, this jutsu will allow their body to create antibodies for that specific poison. They have to have been under the effects of the poison for at least five minutes with no assistance from other methods before this can work. Your body must also have a high tolerance for poison already, if you are especially weak towards them then this jutsu will fail.
Name: Baiseido
Rank: B
Type: Taijutsu/Clan jutsu
Description: This jutsu uses senbon, which are thrown with great accuracy at various pressure-points in a persons body. Depending on the pressure-point being targeted various effects can be acheived.
1. The user could put the victim into a slight coma like state.
2. The user could hit a specific nerve cluster that causes pain.
3. The user could knock the victim unconscious.
4. The user could paralyze the victim.
All of these states can be reversed by someone with the right knowledge hitting the same pressure-points. Or, they wear off after a spell.
Name: Dokubutsu Teikan (poisonous clear vision)
Rank: B
Type: Clan jutsu
CK usage: 5
Description: The Clan members nin-snake bites the opponent and injects them with a special venom. Once the user's nin-snake has bitten the opponent they begins to lost track of the users movements. To the opponent it will seem like there is a trail behind the user and that they are a movement behind. The sensation that everything is happening slower is similar to being intoxicated or completely exhausted. The technique is very effective at reducing an opponents reaction speed. Their vision will get blurry and it will be hard to distinguish if they are looking at their enemy or just an afterimage.
The venom wears off after a few minutes. Any anti-poison or poison healing jutsu can easily cure it.
Name: Sumitsuki
Type: Clan jutsu/Curse
Range: Short 0-5m
Rank: A
CK usage: 8
Description: This seal can only be placed on Clan’s members. After a long string of hand seals the user needs to hit the victim with both palms in the area where the seal is being placed. Once in place this seal locks away all of the victims chakra barring a small trickle. Only enough for them to stay barely conscious, but not enough to do more than that. The seal feeds and powers itself on the victims chakra, so if they don’t have enough chakra it will suck them dry. It causes extreme pain to the victim, as their blood literally mutates, and becomes more toxic. The pain itself may cause psychological trauma to the victim. After 24 hours, if the person has been continuously feeding the seal chakra without dying the seal stops sucking chakra as ferociously. The seal will always drain a small amount of chakra. After this period the victim will not be able to un-activate the seal and it will stay activated, keeping their blood in the mutated stronger form. This will cause the victim pain, as their blood slowly eats them from the inside out. The seal keeps it from being fast and it will take years for the blood to kill the victim. But there are various physical repercussions as it slowly works. After a period of time the victim will be able to activate the second level of this seal. The second level allows the user to draw on the seals power. They can tap into all the stored chakra and use it, but only the amount that the seal has drained from the user, and that amount is permanently gone after being used. This level increases the speed and accuracy of the victim moderately. The last level increases the victims speed to the maximum amount a human body could achieve and grants heightened awareness. After using this level, the victim usually collapses as their blood tends to act up.
Prevention: Five Elements Seal is able to subdue/ suppress this seal. Fuja Hoin is also able to subdue/suppress this seal if the user has a strong enough willpower.
History: This seal is seldom used among the Clan. Although it is a sign of respect for someone to survive this seal whole. It isn't frowned upon per se, but the Clan leaders have subtly discouraged the use of this seal due to the complications and the general uproar when people outside of the Clan find out.
