Kuchinawa clan by PAKSENNARION
Kuchinawa Clan.
Summary:
Loosely translating to "rotten rope", the Kuchinawa clan prides itself in its poisonous blood. There comes a point in their life where their body basically lives on the poison that courses through their veins. This poisonous trait lends them very well to their namesake, snakes. They have a connection with snakes in a similar way that Inuzuka have with canines, though less friendly, and much creepier. Like the Inuzuka Clan they have familiars, snake familiars instead of dogs.
History:
They used to be a huge Clan but they were decimated after being driven out of most villages due to their eccentricities. After years of persecution they came to Suna. They were nearly extinct at that point and in order to get the Kazekage to agree to letting them stay, they were forced to agree that any of their children in the future would be enrolled into the ninja academy and serve Suna with their lives. That was a long time ago and currently they number barely into the double digits. The Clan is obsessed with gaining power, and respect in their new home, anything less than perfection is a failure to them as they try and bring their Clan back to the power it used to have, into the respect they feel they should have again.
Traits:
All members of the Kuchinawa Clan have slightly enlongated canines. They have different colored markings on their body, generally the markings are brightly colored, they resemble the markings on poisionous snakes and are thought to be a warning to others of the Kuchinawa's poisonous blood. Some of them have a slight hiss when they talk, and most have slitted eyes.
Type: passive ability
Description: As children, Clan members begin to secrete their own exclusive brand of poison which slowly mixes with their bloodstream. At a certain age, the toxicity becomes so strong that the Clan members have to periodically draw some of their blood to make sure they aren't harmed by the poison. When a Clan member is hurt in any way, whenever their blood is drawn, the poison inside their blood will react to anything nearby. If it gets on an enemies weapon, it will slowly eat through the material, if it gets on a person it will act like an acid, ect. As Clan members mature their poison gets more and more lethal, usually there comes a point where drawing blood doesn't help any longer and the Clan member is eaten from the inside out by their own toxic blood. Although there are tales of techniques that some Clan members acheive where they begin to live off their poisonous blood, and they gain immunity from it. If this poison is allowed to remain on someone for a prolonged period of time it can do irreprable damage. While Clan members are young their blood can be cured by even the most simple antidotes.
Bloodline jutsu:
Name: bodi-to-ku hebi
Type: Supplementary
Range: Unlimited
Rank: D
Description: The bloodline of the Kuchinawa Clan. It allows the user to communicate with snake and control their familiars if they have one. It uses body motion and a range of hisses.
Name: Doku Men'eki (Poison Immunity)
Rank: C
Type: Clan jutsu
Description: Kuchinawa Clan members are heavily obsessed with their poisonous blood. They have studied it for years along with their snake companions venom. Through these studies they have unlocked the secret to poisons and created a jutsu to counter-act them. The user needs to be close enough to touch the victim for this jutsu to work. As long as the user has felt the poison that's being used themselves they can cure the victim. This jutsu can also give temporary immunity to a poison so long as the user has experienced it themselves before hand. In order for the jutsu to work, the victim must let the users nin-snake bite them and inject them with an anti-venom.
Name: Dokubutsu Teikan (poisonous clear vision)
Rank: B
Type: Clan jutsu
Description: The Clan members nin-snake bites the opponent and injects them with a special venom. Once the user's nin-snake has bitten the opponent they begins to lost track of the users movements. To the opponent it will seem like there is a trail behind the user and that they are a movement behind. The sensation that everything is happening slower is similar to being intoxicated or completely exhausted. The technique is very effective at reducing an opponents reaction speed. Their vision will get blurry and it will be hard to distinguish if they are looking at their enemy or just an afterimage.
The venom wears off after a few minutes. Any anti-poison or poison healing jutsu can easily cure it.
