"Okay then. I'm glad to meet you."
Kayn pointed to the board. ((aka the first post.))
"You must write how you would solve a situation that you and your squad are stuck in, you may pick any situation you want for this. Good luck and aim to impress me."
Kayn escourted Inao to her seat and went back up to the front of the classroom, waiting for one of his students to finish.

1st Lesson - Page 2 Empty Re: 1st Lesson

Post by KaosJonin Mon Aug 18, 2008 2:46 pm

Kaos walks into the room and takes a seat near the back. He sees the 3 questions and begins to work without even a word

1st assignment answer:

I assess the situation carefully and give the most detailed description possible. For example this is what i would tell them: The area is open and six trees that we could use to our advantage and four trees that they could hide behind. The wind is blowing to the southwest so make sure that that you throw your shuriken slightly to the left. The targets are heading this way from the east and expect us to come out of the trees so instead we will flank around them and attack silently from behind. The targets and Chuunin level and carrying secret information about our village to their organization. There is 2 water Ninjutsu users a Taijustsu user and 1 Genjutsu user. The attack will take place and 9:15pm so be ready.

Kaos Smirks to himself and thinks (these are way too easy).

2nd assignment answer:

I would have all my teammates use their hange no jutsu to transform into genin from the village that is holding the hokage hostage. We would then walk in and tell all except the one holding him hostage to switch shifts. After they left one person would go ask the one with kunai how its going and slap his back after the answer with a corresponding response and secretly attach an explosive tag just big enough to take care of the genin. After it goes of they would escape with the hokage as soon as possible.

"how would the Hokage be held by Genins anyways." Kaos says under his breath

3rd assignment answer:

First i would create a water clone outside the room and have him transform into a technician from the opponents group. he would walk into the room and tell the guards that their is a problem with the alarm. As he goes to fix it he would actually disable it then walk out and disappear. Then i would use the hidden mist technique and as the guards go to pull the disabled alarm we would take them out and go outside. I would have my sensai create as many clones as possible to spy on the locations of the ninjas that are in the woods. Then after finding the safest possible route we would then get out and get home to place our reports as fast as possible.

He walks up and lays his paper on the desk and begins to walk out without saying a word.

Minoichi chose to write it again.

Minoichi wrote:
"This is dangerous, 500 of these warriors are no joke, as we will more than likely get killed" Minoichi thought to himself.

"Im going to have to think, how can we get out of here, quietly but quick. I have to think!"

"Thats It! Sensei! Cut the rope" I said as I handed him a Kunai. "We must quickly get to the roof! By quickly I mean NOW!"

As soon as Sensei cut the rope, I was on the roof with the others, the enemy could not see us, so this would be hard to keep out of their site". "If we can get over to that gate, we could use a clone to kill him and get away as they would not know where we are".

Sensei nodded and created a clone to attack the guy at the gate.
When he attacked we quickly got out and we to the top of the roof. ((We crawled on the roof above their heads))

"That was a good plan, Minoichi" Sensei said to me.
"Now to go back to the village, Mission Accomplished.

I had finished and my hand was up once again

" I hope this ones better " I thought to myself.

((He is correct the were all written on the board.))

Kayn carefully looked over Kaos' paper.
"This is a good job, you pass." Kayn announced to him as he headed out the door.
"Good luck in your next academy class."
Kayn now walked back over to Minochi again. After reading the paper he raised an eyebrow.
"This is better work, you pass along with Kaos."

She pokes her head through the classroom door, wondering if classes are still being held. She gulps softly if someone was here and she'd be scolded for being late or not. Nevertheless, she walks in, half-heartedly, determined for her first class.

1st Lesson - Page 2 Empty Re: 1st Lesson

Post by Chieko Wed Aug 20, 2008 6:32 pm

She began to write her first assignment, making sure to add any detail she could think of but at the same time not over do it.

'If my teammates and I were ever caught in a tight spot, we'd all have to stay calm and think about the current situation. The plan of action would always vary with what has happened, like for example: if one of our teammates was captured, we must try and stall until the remaining of us is able to to find an opening. If the situation is out of our power then we must give what the enemy wants little by little without actually giving it to him. For example, I have been assigned a mission with my teammates to transport a very important scroll, the reason for using such a low leveled group is too keep the suspicion low that we have such a document. Unfortunately for us, information has leaked out to a renegade group and now has captured my fellow Genin. If my captured teammate, is panicking the least that one of us can do is assure them to keep calm. I do believe that there is strength in numbers, and with teamwork we would be able to overpower the opponent. If the case that we are outnumbered ourselves, then a call of strategy comes into play, we would also have to hide our plans to the enemy with as little communication as possible. Combining knowledge and power, and especially the power of your friends, could sometimes be the only salvation.'

Chieko taps her pencil down onto the desk and looks over it. She feels a cold sweat run down the side of her face wondering if this is good enough. Almost hesitantly, she walks up to her sensei and holds it up. "I-I hope this is good enough..." She bows a little intimidated that it was the hokage teaching.

1st Lesson - Page 2 Empty Re: 1st Lesson

Post by Chieko Wed Aug 20, 2008 7:08 pm

As she returns to her seat after turning in her first assignment she stares at the board to the next. She feels her body turn hot feeling stumped.
'M-My sensei captured?' She thought to herself gripping her hair. She reads the assignment over and over again for a moment and begins to write down all her thoughts. 'If they see Sensei's comrades, huh...?'

"Obviously, this wouldn't be such a good idea to charge in and attack, but first gather information. Knowledge and strategy could be the only way we could get our sensei back while hopefully avoiding a fight. What my teammates and I would do first is gather what information that we can from any surrounding villages. If luck would have it that we are able to discover the name of the superior of the genin group and know that the leader is currently is not with them at the moment, then we would research the superior and set out to pose as an impostor. The person playing as the fake leader would then take in the rest of us, in an unconscious state, fake of course, tied up, and turn us in as means of infiltrating the facility. The fake impostor would bring us into the hostage room, and order some of the 5 genin away to our side of the room to watch us. The fake would have to distract the remaining Genin at this point, holding our sensei hostage, while the rest of us would lay in wait for an opening. At this point, the 5 Genin are unsuspecting and a surprise attack is possible. Of course, the 5 Genin will be suspicious of us at this point and the fake will have to confirm his genuine state by asking questions such as, if they were able to get anything out of this man, or alternately depending on the leader's personality that we have discovered, rough up Sensei a bit if need be. The last thing we need is to be caught so sometimes roughing around with a comrade is needed. Once the fake is able to gain trust, he should be able to order the genin out of the room, and we'll be able to free Sensei. If this is not possible, then the Fake will have to distract the Genin until an opening is found and a signal is performed to commence the surprise attack. At this point the 5 Genin will have let their guard down, due to the presence of their 'leader.' "

'Knowledge is power!' She giggles inside her head. She looks up and down her paper slowly for any spelling mistakes and gulps again if this will be good enough for passing. Just like before, she walks up hesitantly handing her sensei her proof-read paper. "I-I'm done." Almost as quickly she retreats to her desk grabbing another paper for the next assignment.

Post by Chieko Wed Aug 20, 2008 7:12 pm

She starts to sob quietly to herself staring at the next assignment. 'This one's more insanely tougher than before! What grade am I iiiiiiin!?' She screams in her head, with a mental image of herself spinning into an abyss of papers and homework. A dark loom forms over her head as she begins to think for an answer, coming up blank unfortunately. She sits for awhile, occasionally tapping her paper with her pencil to make sure she's still paying attention to her thoughts. 'T-This might take awhile...'

1st Lesson - Page 2 Empty Re: 1st Lesson

Post by Chieko Wed Aug 20, 2008 8:39 pm

Her mind starts to wander a bit from her assignment and begins to think about her mother. She starts to remember a training session she had with her when her mother started teaching her Genjutsu.
'Kahen Tonsou no Jutsu!' She hears a past Chieko in her head.
'Your too slow! Again!' An older looking woman would yell. She was almost the spitting image of Chieko.
Chieko's mind flashes onto another session.
'Stand up straight, Chieko! Pay attention. This is a simple Genjutsu so you should get this.' She watches her mother stand there for awhile and she watches the past Chieko tilt her head in confusion.

Just then it snapped to her. 'I know!' She said to herself and began writing.

"When captured and theres little chance for being rescued soon, ninjutsu and taijutsu maybe too flashy to make the first move of escaping. So genjutsu would be a nice choice. A simple genjutsu would be effective too as long as it's not over done and the enemy isn't able to detect it being executed. Another plus, is that when it is executed it takes effect almost immediately and some genjutsu don't not require eye contact. In this case, for example, the 5 guards are all watching us closely, so of course it would be suicide to attack them, instead, we attack the alarm first. In our case, one of us can use the Kokohi no Jutsu (False Place Technique), which is a simple Genjutsu. When used, it is able to change the appearance of an area. It doesn't harm the target in anyway. When the genjutsu is used, we'll be able to hide and maybe even move the alarm button, and also this could help since the guards do not watch the button itself. We would be able to move the button around slightly away from its initial place so even when the guards were to go and press the button, no real effect would take place. After the genjutsu has been casted, then everyone would use a jutsu that all ninja should know, the Nawanuke no Jutsu. (Rope Untying technique) After everyones ropes are loosened, we should be able to lunch a surprise attack on the unsuspecting guards and take them out before they realized there was a genjutsu placed on the button. Afterwards, we'll be able to take some of the guards forms using the Henge no jutsu and make our escape."

She slowly made her last dot as a period as her eyes were already wandering to read over what she wrote. She gulped again having to get up from her seat and hand her paper over.
"I-It's done..." She hands it with both hands, her head bowed respectfully. "I-I hope its good enough..."

1st Lesson - Page 2 Empty Re: 1st Lesson

Post by Anei Thu Aug 21, 2008 11:54 pm

*Kojima walked into the classroom quietly, eyes shifting from side to side, glancing over the growing number of occupants while chewing the inside of his lip. glancing down he sees that the top of his shirt is unbuttoned just a bit more than is appropriate. he buttons it up, leaving only the top three open, so as to remain comfortable, as he finds a seat in the estimated center of the desks. He spots the writing on the board and reads it over twice before preparing to write. The first one seemed fairly straightforward.*

1. My position within any squad, more often than not, will be support. The usefulness of information is paramount. If not enough information is known for even a basic strategy, even the use of simple jutsu such as henge and kakuremino is an adequate method for obtaining it. This is a task i would be well suited for, as well as supporting my teammates in their efforts, rather than taking the reins myself. Every situation must be approached carefully and strategically. I am a tool, a pawn, for strategy.

1st Lesson - Page 2 Empty Re: 1st Lesson

Post by Anei Fri Aug 22, 2008 12:15 am

*nodding slightly, setting to work on the second question, yawning as he did so. The first was a very general question, and merited only a general explanation. now details came into play*

2. The solution to this situation could vary drastically depending on the styles and techniques of those involved in the rescue. Since my sensei is apparently incapable of using the replacement technique or defending himself in any way, the genin with the kunai to his neck is clearly the most pressing problem. Depending on the proximity one could achieve to the group of enemies, one of the team members could simply use the replacement technique, switching themselves with the kunai or even the genin holding it, effectively eliminating the direct threat as soon as anyone could notice something happening. as long as the other teammates react quickly, and the person who used the replacement technique is not completely helpless themselves, like the sensei, the remaining genin could be quickly dispatched by any means necessary, such as a thrown kunai. failing the perfect suprise attack, the preliminary eradication of the immediate threat should provide enough time to at least get the sensei out of harms way, and prepare for a more lengthy battle.
